@Bry2010, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Envy 6120e Power Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Envy 6120e printer doesn't power up after plugging back in the power cable, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Power Source: Ensure that the power cable is firmly plugged into the outlet and the printer. Try plugging the printer into a different power outlet to rule out a faulty outlet.

Check Power Cord: Inspect the power cord for any visible damage. If you notice any cuts or frayed wires, the power cord may need replacement.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and into the power outlet.
  • Try powering on the printer by pressing the power button.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the power cord from the printer.
  • Wait for 30 seconds.
  • While plugging the power cord back into the printer, press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds.

Check Wall Outlet:

  • Ensure the wall outlet is functional by using another electronic device or a lamp to test it.

Inspect AC Adapter:

  • If the printer uses an AC adapter, check if it is properly connected and functioning. Try using a different adapter if available.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
