HP LaserJet MFP M234dw

I bought a printer at Staples, now the branding said HP+ and that there are additional features when creating an account, but there was no clear differentiation from other printers that looks exactly the same and have the exact same functions, only that this model and others in the line called "HP+" or "HP Plus" REQUIRE an online account and constant external internet connection.

It took me some time to actually setup the printer within the network, and then took me a few days to get the printer actually connected using HPLIP project, which is quite broken on recent Linux OSs.

Now it stopped printing since I haven't created an online account and now I have an HP branded brick in my workspace.

So:

1. I am not interested in the additional features, I have all the software required to operate this machine I paid for, it worked until now

2. I use Linux only, So no Window / Mac suggestions, and don't give me the "We don't support Linux" non-sense (Updated: my real thought about this was bleeped) , unless you let your full-time employees take credit for the code they've written for the HPLIP project, HP has full ownership over it, you do de-facto support Linux OSs

3. How do I continue using MY printer?
