How do I scan or print to a file on my HP Smart printer?

If you want to print to a document to a file, the easiest method is a program called CUTEPDF. This creates a printer instance that when you select it, coverts the file you were going to print into a PDF document. Have used it for years, works great.

Fixed.. You still have to go to printer settings and select "Microsoft Print to PDF" and then you scan and print will send to a pdf. When you scan though you will need to Create an HP account it says.
