Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am hoping to use two ce860a paper trays with a mfp m775dn.  It's clear from the specs that at least one is supported.   I can't find information in any of the m775 documents about two.    I did see in the m750 printer specs that a max of two trays are supported with that printer.

Maximum tray count for this print engine is 4 trays. the standard in body tray and 3 additional trays. Typically this is achieved by adding the 3 tray stand unit CE725A.

I am not sure you can stack the individual trays, you would need to look at the bottom of the tray to see if there are connectors that pass through to the next tray.

Thanks much for the response.   I have confirmed that the electrical connections pass through to a connector on the bottom.   Mechanically it also looks good.

So the residual question is, does the printer software allow it?

I may just have to get a second ce860a and try it.

I wouldn't bother with this plan but I don't have room for the floor model plan.
