Hi @Py19,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?
Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
From the Printer's Control Panel:
- Locate the Cancel button or icon on the printer's control panel. Pressing this button will stop the current printing process.
From Your Computer:
Windows:
- Go to the Start menu and open Control Panel.
- Click on Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP printer and select See what's printing.
- In the print queue window, you can right-click the document you want to cancel and select Cancel.
Mac:
- Open System Preferences and select Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP printer from the list.
- Click Open Print Queue.
- You can select the print job and choose Delete or Cancel.
Using the Embedded Web Server:
- Access the Embedded Web Server by entering the printer's IP address in a web browser.
- Navigate to the Job Queue or Print Queue section.
- Find the job you want to cancel and select Cancel.
Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges:
- If you're replacing empty ink cartridges, ensure the print queue is cleared before reinserting them, otherwise the printer may attempt to resume the incomplete print job.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
