If the printer is on the network,
If the Embedded Web Server (EWS) is supported,
and if the Advanced section is applicable to your printer,
Set the preferences for Tray / Paper AND adjust / check the settings in Advanced
EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
If applicable, check the Advanced section (at the bottom of the Tray and Paper Management menu)
Click Apply to save changes
What else?
HP Smart Mobile does require that you set the paper size / type before opening the item to be printed.
Printer Dependent / Driver Dependent: Not every combination of paper size / paper type is supported.
Printer Dependent: Not every printer supports EWS > Settings > Preferences > Tray / Paper > Advanced
