Envy 5530
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I am running Big Sur 11.2.3 and have a HP Envy 5530. I cannot get it to print.  I have removed and reinstalled all HP software. I can print from HP smart on other devices not running Big Sur. From system preferences I can see the printer but when I try to add it I get an error message stating: Unable to connect to 'HP ENVY 5530 series [E8841E]._tcp.local'due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer? You then have a continue or cancel option and even if you continue you get an unable to connect message.

Grateful for any advice

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
