Hi,

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Scan menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

Sorry but I've followed this advice - there is no "Uninstall HP Software" option on the "top" HP Easy Scan menu to select or within the actual app menu which goes straight to the add hardware etc. phase.

Apologies my friend, far too early in the am to do this task; found the "Uninstall..." option listed with "About..." and "Preferences"  etc. Managed to re-install the HP software but I still get the same OS11 message when i try to scan, 

viz - a Big Sur dialog which says "HPDM framework" will damage your computer and then goes on to explain "This file was down loaded on an unknown date." (BTW its a HP MFP M277dw printer/scanner)

Apologies to everyone; followed threads elsewhere to discover this is an HP - Apple app compatibility problem; waiting for others to resolve. Effecting HP Easy Scan and HP Utilities

Something seems to happen with every s/w update now; spent the whole morning on this issue only to find nothing can be done at the moment
