I cannot download HP Smart on my macbook so cannot install my new printer - Deskjet 2810e

I have just bought a Deskjet 2810e printer and I'm trying to set it up, but all avenues return to installing the HP Smart app. The latest version of this isnt installable on my Macbook Pro, operating system OS X El Capitain. I am already an HP Instant Ink customer and was advised that this printer would be the ideal replacement for my 3637 printer.

I understand you're facing compatibility issues with the HP Smart app on your MacBook Pro running OS X El Capitan. Since the latest version of HP Smart isn't compatible with your operating system, you have a few options to consider:

You can try using HP Easy Start, which is another software provided by HP to set up and manage printers. It supports a wider range of operating systems and might be compatible with OS X El Capitan.

Web Services Setup: Alternatively, you can set up your HP Deskjet 2810e printer using its built-in web services. Here's how:

• Connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network using its control panel.
• Find the IP address of your printer (you can usually do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer).
• Open a web browser on your MacBook Pro and enter the IP address of the printer in the address bar.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer, including registering it with your HP Instant Ink account if necessary.

Manual Driver Installation: You can manually download and install the printer drivers and software from the HP website. Here are the steps:

• Visit the HP Support website (support.hp.com). Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer
• Enter your printer model (Deskjet 2810e) and select your operating system (OS X El Capitan).
