I forgot my EWS username and password

Hello, i forgot my username and password for the EWS.

Is there a way to do a factory reset of the printer by pressing a certain combination of buttons?

Try to press and hold down the arrow and cancel button then turn the printer ON. That should reset the printer to default and you will need to reconnect it back to wi-fi

I tried doing as you said but during the configuration process with Hp Smart after it connects to my Wi fi it still asks me for the custom password that i don't know.

The caption sais:
A custom password has been set for the printer. Type it to access the printer's web interface.

Opet drum access door and there should be a white label with the serial number and a PIN, use that PIN as a password.

I found the sticker with the SN and a 6 digit pin but it's not the correct password. That probably means that the printer didn't reset to factory.

How long do i have to keep pressing the two buttons  after i turn on the printer?

Tried but it doesn't work, maybe because my printer is in AWC  (Auto Wireless Connect) state? The little wireless button is always blinking blu.

Now you need to connect it to your wi-fi using HP Smart APP

I was already using HP Smart from PC and it keeps asking me for the password. Now i tried from my android phone but it doesn't find the printer.

In my opinion the problem is that the reset is not working, otherwhise i should be able to insert the PIN on PC and end the configuration.
