HP Recommended
Product: Officejet 6500 E709 series all-in-one printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’ve used this his printer for several years on my laptop without any issues. Recently I need to reinstall the drivers. I went to the Hewlett Packard website and downloaded the latest driver. When I attempted to install it, I got all the way through the process (installed software, establish wireless connection, etc.). During  the final step “configuration product,” I received a fatal error splash screen. This error is reproducible. I went through the process recommended on the HP website virtual agent page, however the problem persists. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get the driver/software installed correctly?
