Hi @Hal1945,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

First, ensure you have the latest printer driver installed for your HP Officejet 4630. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers.

Adjusting Display Settings

Sometimes, adjusting the display settings can help with scaling issues in applications. Follow these steps:

Adjust Resolution:

  • Go to Settings > System > Display.
  • Under the "Display" section, check if your resolution is set to the recommended settings.

Scale and Layout:

  • Still under Settings > System > Display.
  • Look for "Scale and layout".
  • Increase or decrease the scaling percentage to see if it helps with the print dialog window size.

Change Default Printer Dialog Width

There is no direct option to resize the print dialog window through the printer's software, but you can try the following workaround:

  1. Select Printer from Application:
    • Instead of right-clicking to print from a file directly, open the file in Adobe Reader or any other appropriate application.
    • Use the application’s File > Print option to open the print dialog. This might present a larger, more standard print dialog window.

Printer Preferences

Check if adjusting printer preferences through the Control Panel provides a more readable print dialog:

  1. Control Panel:
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click on HP Officejet 4630 and select Printing preferences.
    • Make changes to preferences and see if it affects the print dialog size.

Using HP Smart App

HP Smart app provides a comprehensive printing menu with larger display options:

  1. Download HP Smart App from 123.hp.com.
    • Add your printer to the HP Smart app.
    • Use the app to print documents which may provide a better interface and larger options display.

I hope this helps.
