Hi @Ruvim1

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The error message UA_400_EB000U0422 you received indicates an issue related to your HP Instant Ink subscription or the communication with the HP Instant Ink service. Here are the steps to resolve this issue:

Steps to Resolve HP Instant Ink Error Message:

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. Instant Ink cartridges require an active internet connection to communicate with HP’s servers.

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the power source and the printer.
  • Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Verify HP Instant Ink Account:

  • Sign into your HP Instant Ink account.
  • Make sure your subscription is active and there are no billing issues.
  • Confirm that your printer is listed under your account.

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date:

  • Open the HP Smart app or go to the HP support website.
  • Search for your printer model.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to update your printer firmware.
