I have faced similar problem when I tried to set my my M183laserjet. Any idea why I need a password?

Can idea where we can obtain the M183 laserjet password? I have no idea but such message keep popping up when i tried to set up my new M183 laserjet printer using the HP support . It required me to connect to the HP printer wifi and a password is needed.

I see that your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M183fw is not connecting to the wi-fi network as it is asking for the password.

Please follow the steps listed below to connect using USB cable and then change it to wireless.

Step 1: Connect using USB cable:

Please follow the steps in this document to connect the printer using the USB cable.

Step 2: Change from a USB connection to wireless:

Please follow the steps in this document to change from a USB connection to a wireless network.
