Hi @kingjack51,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer to your PC, you'll need to ensure that the correct drivers are installed. Here’s how to do it.
Download and Install the Driver
Visit the HP Support Website:
- Go to the HP Software and Drivers page.
Enter Your Printer Model:
- Type "OfficeJet Pro 9010" in the search box and select your printer from the list.
Choose Your Operating System:
- The website will automatically detect your operating system. If it doesn’t, select the correct OS from the dropdown menu.
Download the Driver:
- Look for the "Drivers" section and download the full driver package. This will include the necessary drivers and software to connect to your printer.
Install the Driver:
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver. Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to the same network as your PC.
Connect to the Printer
Open Settings:
- On your PC, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
Add a Printer:
- Click on Add a printer or scanner. Your PC will search for available printers.
Select Your Printer:
- When you see your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 in the list, click on it, then select Add device.
Set as Default Printer (Optional)
- After adding your printer, you can set it as the default printer by selecting it in the list and clicking on Manage > Set as default.
Print a Test Page
- To ensure everything is working correctly, you can print a test page. Right-click your printer in the Printers & scanners settings, select Printer properties, and then click on Print Test Page.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
