I purchased a HP Desk Jet 4258e printer.  I have installed it, but cannot get connected to the internet.  Something about my wifi that needs to be changed, and I got a message that it could be changed, but I do not know how to do this.  Can you please help me get my printer connected to the internet?  Thank You

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

first make sure your Wi-Fi is working and you know the network name and password. Turn on the printer and press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wifi lights start blinking. 

 

Then, either use the HP Smart app on your phone or computer to follow the setup instructions. 

 

Once connected, you can print a network report to confirm the connection. If you encounter any issues, check your Wi-Fi settings or password, and make sure your router is compatible with the printer.
