Cannot turn off the printer. This is the message Do not turn off the printer. "The printing system is initializing and should not be interrupted."
I have reinstalled the installation files several times.
The printer is well recognized by my computer.
I unplugged and plugged in my router.
Could it be an incompatibility between Windows 8 and the printer?
Thank you for your help.
If this message is on the screen of the printer it has nothing to do with drivers. For whatever reason the printer believes that it has not gone through the out of box initialization. If this is a new printer, it may have been interrupted during the startup process, which can take up to 20 minutes or more. If this was a previously working printer, it is possible that the configuration was corrupted, which can happen from incidents like power surges or brownouts.
