Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello:

When I upgraded to Windows 10 and re-installed the new HP print driver for Windows 10 from their site, my top & bottom unprintable margins increased, (>3/4"). I then ran the HP print doctor and everything seems to check out.

My wife can print from her Mac via wifi and the margins are still good (<1/4"). My PC is connected to the printer via USB.

I'm tempted to just buy a new printer, any suggestions?

Hey @Mike144,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.

I see that you are having some issues with printing from your Windows 10 PC to your Officejet 8710 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.

To resolve this:

  1. If your printer is connected to your PC through a USB cable, remove it.
  2. Close all programs you have open.
  3. In your search bar type in Printers and open Devices and Printers.
  4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
  5. Click on Remove Device.
  6. Repeat for any other icons of your printer listed.

If you removed the USB cable, connect it. If not, click on Add Printer and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print with larger margins, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
