HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

Printer is out of ink.  Purchased new Black 950XL Cartridge, Number CN045AN.  This cartridge will not load into printer.  Inspection of new cartridge indicates it has a chip and a different looking plastic end that is not the same as the old cartridge which is out of ink.  Any suggestions?

Hi @Greg681,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to install the new cartridge

Could you share an image of the new cartridge?

Let me know!

Hi Jay:  We have already returned the new cartridges for a refund.  The new cartridges had a chip on the end of the cartridge that went into the printer.  It was also shaped differently near the chip than our old cartridge.  Sorry an image of the new cartridge is not available. Thanks for your help. Greg
