Mac OS14 SONOMA has removed the functionality for converting PostScript and EPS files to PDF format.
Is there a Postscript driver available for this printer so that I can launch a print queue from my graphics program?

Hi @Jos69,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP OfficeJet 4650 printer's drivers or compatibility with Mac OS 14 (as Mac OS versions could have advanced since then).
However, HP typically provides drivers and software updates for their printers to ensure compatibility with the latest operating systems. To find the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend checking the official HP support website. They will have the latest information on available drivers and software for your printer model and the specific Mac OS version you are using.
Here are general steps to check for drivers.
- Visit the official HP Support website: https://support.hp.com/
- Enter your printer model (OfficeJet 4650) in the search bar.
- Navigate to the "Downloads" or "Drivers" section.
- Select your operating system (in this case, Mac OS 14 SONOMA).
- Download and install the latest available drivers for your printer.
If you can't find a specific PostScript driver on the official HP website, you may want to explore alternative solutions. Some graphic programs allow you to export or save files in PDF format directly.
Additionally, there are third-party tools and online converters that can convert PostScript (PS) or Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files to PDF. Always make sure to download software or tools from trusted sources to ensure the security of your system.
Remember to check for updates regularly, as driver support and compatibility can change with operating system updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
