How do I turn Job Storage completely off. It keeps interrupting our efforts. I have gone into printer preferences to be sure job storage was disabled. It is. System still says to insert USB stick.

Check the defaults not the preferences. On your computer go to control panel>devices and printers, right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties". Then click on the advanced tab and at the bottom should be an printer defaults button. Also make sure that any older jobs that may have been sent are purged from the print spooler.

I have followed your instructions. I do not find any reference to Job Storage under the printing defaults button. There was one job waiting to print. I deleted it through the see whats printing dialog. Do I need to stop and restart the spooler.

Since my last post I have turned the print spooler off and started it again. I assume that clears the spooler. I have also powered down and disconnected the printer and restarted it. Turned the computer off and on. The USB Storage message has disappeared on the printer. I have no idea at this point whether or not my issue is resolved and that Job storage won't raise its ugly head again.
