Example: inkjet 6500

I just found a HP printer inkjet 6500 in my closet trying to figure out how old it might be and whether it’s worth buying the ink to try it out pretty sure it was working when it was stored

looks like a beauty

Hi,

What is the exact printer model?

An HP Officejet 6500 printer would be at least 10 years old, it was released in 2008.

Generally, you may experience issues after such a long time, due to a clogged printhead, so I won't suggest getting into too many adventures.

You may try getting ink and check,

Several months of storage is surely better than years, but yet not a recommended thing for a printing device, the storage temperature and terms are unknown, and many factors may affect, you may try installing inks and check, maintaining actions might be required, it may work with no issues, with minimal issues getting resolved with minimal maintenance and may have print quality issues.

Please keep this in mind, be aware that all ink cartridges are required and will likely need to be changed, no one can really know how much affects it may have on the device.
