Keep getting cartage error and can't download the firmware to fix the issue.

HP Recommended
office jet Pro 8610 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Have had this printer for years and all of a sudden I am getting damaged cartridge's errors.  I tried to download the firm ware driver but but it shows my printer greyed out so I can't do anything.  There was a update that has started this issue.  Is there a lawsuit started?

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
