Hi:

 

My Februrary 2018 LaserJet Pro M130fn has begun to develop problems :

 

- Some settings are lost when the printer enters sleep mode or is disconnected from the mains. The screen flashes 00:00 VCR style and new parameters, beginning with date and time, have to be re-entered.

 

I suppose that the params are stored in a cmos memory and that its attached battery is now dead, but there's no mention of anything even remotely close in the manual(s), online help or HP website.

 

Am I correct here? If yes, how can I change the battery?

If not what could be the cause of this problem?

 

- Printing from a 2016 iPad using Airplay has recently become erratic. The iPad now doesn't see the printer two out of three tries, while it was perfectly working a couple of months ago.

 

Connection is via the wifi section of a Bonjour-enabled Internet access box/server, while the printer is connected to one of the Ethernet ports on the same box, the iPad can access the printer http server thru Safari or Chrome but is unable to print... <GRRR>

 

Any ideas ?
