Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is confusing and don't know how to fix. I have attached two screen shots, 1 of a Adobe PDF print option screen and 1 of an Excel print option screen.  Both are dealing with a landscape oriented spreadsheet, and I would expect selecting the short edge, (or a flip over not flip up) would do what I want, that is to turn it like a normal page in a horizontally oriented book.  That's not what I get with either of these printouts. It ends up duplex ok but to see each side you have to "flip up" or turn on "long edge".  My printer was just checked for latest updates and all ok, so is my Windows 10 and Excel and Adobe.
