Looking to buy or obtain a CD disk for a HP 8710 office pro printer. I lost the CD. My computer is Dell with windows 7, but it’s a new one I bought. The last time I downloaded it worked from internet, but it won’t download on the new computer because Microsoft edge & explorer not working. But I do have google chrome. So I looking for the actual CD driver if available?

Hi @jpm925 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP 8710 Office Pro printer. CD/DVD installation disks for printers were becoming less common, and HP often encouraged users to download the latest drivers and software from HP official websites. It's possible that HP no longer provides installation disks with their printers.
Since you're having trouble downloading from Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, you can try the following steps to download the driver using Google Chrome:
Open Google Chrome on your new Dell computer.
Go to the official HP support website: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
Enter your printer model, which is HP OfficeJet Pro 8710, and click on "Search."
Select your operating system (Windows 7 64-bit) from the list.
Download the recommended driver and software package for your printer.
Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers and set up your printer.
Welcome to Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer series
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your reply.
I should have clarified in my prior post. I actually downloaded it from Google Chrome, and several sources including HP official did not work. There was a softonic website & others offering same thing.
Each time I downloaded it starts to download, then switches to some Microsoft Edge “something” it claims it needs to download? Then it’s says it can’t download the Edge? It’s confusing because usually when I’ve downloaded any printer software (in the past) from HP, etc.,… direct from Google Chrome it’s successful. In my case, I also usually just down the BASIC drives & not the full package. Which is also usually easier & faster.
So I’m stumped.
That’s why I was looking for the hard to find CD installation setup.
