Lost Ews password deskjet 2624

Deskjet 2624 printer

I lost my password.  I previously set it up at one point now I cannot change my settings because I cannot remember the password. Please help how do I reset it?

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Perform a network restore to reset the EWS password:-

Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Then you can log in with default credentials,(i.e ID:- "Admin" and leave the password blank).

This did not work

 I've called HP support and spoke to 5 different people. I need to know how to do this to reset my printer network connection.  

I do not have a WPS button. I do not have a USB cable.

Why cant anyone tell me how to hard reset the thing?????
