HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After a firmware update to 20211215 the printer is showing "Ready 2 Download fw is corrupt".

I tried different instructions found on other posts like unplug, leave it for several minutes and restart, or trying to update via USB but it did not help.

I hope a full reset and re-initialize of the printer helps.

Could someone please send me the instructions for my MFP M130fw?

Thank You.

Solved: MFP M130fw, firmware 20211215 fatal error 7 - HP Support Community - 8248843

I tried and it worked for me. it  downgraded my firmware to 20201023 which is the previous firmware from the current one.  printer is now operational. i think i'll leave it on this older version until HP corrects the corrupt firmware listed today.

good luck.

Yes i'm in the same situation as you. today i installed 121521 fw update and the printer returned "ready 2 download fw is corrupt".

i tried all sorts of steps to reset printer  for my MFP M130fw but can't get past the error message screen.

unless i am doing something wrong from posts regarding how to reset nothing has worked.

if hp would help it would be appreciated.  there must be some sort of trick to do the hard reset.

thanks,

mike
