Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My networked printer suddenly lost its drivers. Every solution I pursued, including loading the most recent driver pack and using HP Smart diagnosis and repair programs, failed to fix the problem. It operates properly as a scanner. The VPN is disconnected. A recent MS update may have disrupted it, but I cannot tell for sure. I have uninstalled all the apps in Control Panel/Windows Apps and reinstalled the latest HP Smart. Adding to the mystery, the printer is working fine with the other networked computer which also had the same MS Update completed.
