HP OfficeJet Pro 6968

So I have tried multiple options to resolve my printer issue. I received this message after deleting my printer and trying to add it back.

Next I got this message

I am now trying to update the firmware for the printer and I am not able to because "the device is not reachable".

Like others, this came out of the blue. I was on hold for over an hour with your help desk - I had to hang up because I ran out of time to wait. I would love to get this resolved but feeling like I should just go purchase a different printer. Beyond frustrating. Still, willing to see if I get any response here.

@Kimiken

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, check the network connection settings:

  • 1) Turn off the Router, Printer, and computer/ mobile devices.
  • 2) Wait for 60 seconds.
  • 3) Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  • 4) Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  • 5) Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.

Next update the  driver from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
