HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer

Attempting to install HP Office Jet Pro 6025e software/drivers on Windows 10/64b laptop using various HP methods. Printer and computer connected to same wifi network. Able to scan from HP Smart, but printer driver never installs and printer never recognized. Multiple, multiple attempts. Power down and repower all components. Reset printer to factory defaults, etc. Will this thing work with Windows 10?

@airbusdriver, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e does work with Windows 10 (64-bit). Since you've tried multiple attempts and troubleshooting steps without success, let's go through a more structured approach to resolving the issue.

Check Windows Updates

Ensure your Windows 10 is fully updated:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Click Check for updates and install any pending updates.

Restart the computer.

Remove Any Existing HP Software and Drivers

Open Control Panel > Programs & Features.

Uninstall any HP software related to HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and let it check for driver issues.

Restart your computer.

Manually Install the Printer Driver

Download the Full Software Package

Go to the HP Support Page.

Enter HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e and select Windows 10 (64-bit).

Download and install the Full Software Solution.

Manually Add the Printer (If Needed)

Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.

Click Add a Printer.

Select The printer that I want isn't listed.

Choose Add a printer using TCP/IP address.

Enter the printer’s IP address (find this on the printer screen under Network Settings).

Select Windows Update if the printer driver doesn’t appear automatically.

Try the Basic Driver Instead

If the full driver fails, try installing the Basic Driver from the HP website.

Disable Firewall & Security Software Temporarily

Temporarily disable Windows Defender or any third-party antivirus/firewall software before installing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
