The printer has worked for several years.
The laptop recently upgraded from Windows 10 to 11.
When it stopped printing I took it to a computer repair shop and he reinstalled the driver and then ran the HP Smart and then it printed. When I took it home it printed one 2 page job. The next job did not print.
I have tried to follow all of the HP diagnostics and HP Smart. Nothing works.

I'm guessing that it was connected to the router and it went to sleep. When the printer woke up it probably got a different IP address. Do a Wi-Fi reset of the printer and use Wi-Fi direct to bypass the router completely.
If English is not your native language or if you wish to get additional information not covered below, then use the HP and Microsoft support assistants. The latest HPSA supports 36 languages and can be downloaded here. Microsoft's AI assistant is in the latest Windows 10 and 11 releases and there are instructions here on how to enable the AI. Microsoft's AI assistant (Copilot) has a microphone button and supports natural language processing. |

this is useful if you want to avoid using the router. There is also a video here and it is good for 7120, 7130, 7134, 7155, 7158, 7164

Let me know if you have a flex system (Wi-Fi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is much more complicated when using the router type of connection.
