Hi @RICBEBS,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

The HP Tank 310 should generally support a range of paper sizes, but custom sizes might require additional configuration changes. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue of printing 8.5 x 13-inch paper from Microsoft Excel:

Check Printer Driver Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer driver is up-to-date. You can download the latest driver from HP Support.
  • Go to the printer settings in Windows and add the custom paper size (8.5 x 13 inches) if it’s not already listed.

Excel Page Setup:

  • In Excel, navigate to the "Page Layout" tab.
  • Click on "Size" and select "More Paper Sizes."
  • Enter the dimensions for the custom paper size.

Printer Settings:

  • Access the printer properties or settings through Control Panel.
  • Confirm that the paper size set in the printer preferences matches the custom size (8.5 x 13 inches).

Adjust Printer Settings Directly:

  • Some printers allow settings adjustments directly from the control panel. Check if paper size and type can be configured directly on the HP Tank 310.

Test with Another Document:

  • Try printing a different document using the same custom size to rule out spreadsheet-specific formatting issues.

I hope this helps.
