Hi @AISA2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To troubleshoot the issue where your HP Smart Tank 525 printer is not connecting to your Acer Swift Go 14, here are some steps you can follow:

Ensure Compatibility: Double-check that your HP printer and Acer laptop are compatible. The HP printer should support common connection methods such as USB or Wi-Fi, which your laptop should also support.

Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your Acer laptop. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website by entering your printer model.

Check Connection: If you are using a USB cable, ensure it is properly connected. For wireless connections, confirm that both the printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Device Settings: Sometimes, specific settings might prevent a printer from connecting. Check your laptop’s device settings under “Printers & Scanners” to ensure the printer is listed and set as the default printer.

Network Configurations: Verify the network settings on both the printer and laptop. Ensure that there are no firewall settings that might block the connection.

Restart Devices: Restart your Acer laptop, printer, and network router. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
