Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP office Jet printer will not print in color, the test page will not print in color I have had to uninstall and reinstall 3 times then it works 1 or 2 times and then again no color.  Any suggestions other than throwing it in the John.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.

I did what was suggested.  Printed a test page and it was in color,  Tried to print a picture which previewed in color but printed Black & White, what's the next step?

What application are you printing from?

 

If you may print from the Photos app, uncheck the box next to Let the app change my printing preferences, also make sure the Copy1 instance of the printer is selected and try printing the photo.
