HP DeskJet 2722

Hi! Just bought yesterday the printer at Argos in London, and after I print one or two pages, the printer goes offline. With wi-fi direct it happens almost the same. So I always have to switch the printer off and then turn it on to continue printing.

And the ink that was included in the purchase, half is gone after printing just 20 pages!

Could you please help me to sort that out, cause it does not look very satisfactorily?! Especially with just a new bought item.

Thanks.

All the best,

Maria

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Next assign a Manual IP Address

1) Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
2) Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
3) Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
4) Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
5) Click Manual IP
6) If you see a Suggest a Manual IP Address button, click Manual IP address, and the Manual IP addresses are automatically filled out for you.
7) If your page does not have a button to suggest a manual IP address, type the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway using the numbers shown in the report you printed.

Also disable the IPV6 Address

(1) From a computer connected to your network, type the IP address for your printer into the URL field of your Internet browser.

Note: To get the IP Address Print a Network Configuration Page

- To print a Network Configuration Page - Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Information button ( ) at the same time.

(2) Click the Network or Networking tab, and then open the section or page for your network type: wired or wireless.

(3) Select Enable IPv4 only (or similar)

(4) Click Apply, and then wait until the changes are confirmed.
