Hi @4KingdomofLight,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I see from the screenshot that your HP Instant Ink dashboard shows:

  • Printer: HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One
  • Status: Unable to connect to the printer. Check your connection and try again later.
  • Last synced: March 23, 2019
  • You are enrolled in HP Instant Ink, but the printer is not communicating with HP servers.

Why This Happens

  • The printer lost its internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
  • Web Services (required for Instant Ink) are disabled.
  • The firmware or the HP  app is outdated.
  • The printer was replaced or reset without updating the Instant Ink account.

Step-by-Step Fix

1. Check Printer Internet Connection

  • On the printer panel:
    • Setup > Network Settings > Wireless Settings
    • Print a Network Configuration Page to confirm connectivity.

2. Enable Web Services

  • On the printer panel:
    • Setup > Web Services > Enable Web Services
  • If already enabled, turn it off, then on again.

3. Update Firmware

4. Reconnect to HP App

5. Restart Printer and Router

  • Power cycle both devices to refresh network settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
