Product: Desk Jet 4130
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Unboxed and installed; can print ok

But scanner head fidgets constantly.

Can't get HP Support to recognise the serial number so can't ask them

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • Where was the printer purchased?
  • When you say scanner head fidgets constantly, do you mean to say the scanner bar keeps moving to and fro?
  • Is it while you use the printer or even when it is idle?
