New HP Envy 6055 wireless distorts configuration of the document I'm trying to print:

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New HP Envy 6055 wireless printer (just set up) distorts configuration of the document I'm trying to print:   changes single spacing to double spacing, inserts 4 blank white columns - spaced at intervals - from top to bottom of page, covering text.   Also some text runs off the page at right margin.  Any suggestions?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, 

I understand that your HP printer is not working correctlyto provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did any hardware changes take place on the printer before this issue started?
  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?
  • Are you able to print from other devices? 

While you respond to that. I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix: 

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
  • Disconnect any other cables if connected to the printer.
  • Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
  • The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
  • Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
