HP 7520 photosmart printer
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I received an update for Office 365 for Mac. After the update was installed I can no longer print new documents on my HP 7520. I can print documents created before the update and I can print new documents on a different printer. MS was no help other than delete and re-install the software. I tried HP drivers, too with no luck.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I read that you have an HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer. I read that post an update for Office 365 for Mac, the printer does not print new documents. The printer can print the old documents. You're able to print new documents from another printer though. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.

I did some research on this case and came across a Microsoft document that helps in fixing printing problems in Office for Mac: Troubleshoot printing problems in Microsoft 365 apps

I suggest you to review this document in detail. These steps have helped in the past to resolve such issues.

Secondly, if the issue still persists then please reset the printing system in Mac OS.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Please let me know how it goes.
