Tried every suggestion on my new printer.  The power cord continues to come out of the back of the printer!  Had a long don line help discussion.  Resulted in ridiculous questions and no resolution.  (i.e Do you have a power cord?)   I want a new cord.

@Newprintercord, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Power Cord Issues with HP Smart Tank 7002 All-in-One!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Experiencing difficulties with the power cord on your HP Smart Tank 7002 All-in-One Printer can be frustrating. Here are some steps that might help resolve the issue, and information on how you can obtain a new power cord if needed.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check for Damage: Inspect the power cord for any visible signs of damage. If the cord is frayed or has any cuts, it may need to be replaced.
  2. Ensure Proper Connection: Make sure the power cord is inserted firmly into the power port on the back of the printer. Sometimes it may appear connected but can be a bit loose.
  3. Alternative Outlet: Try plugging the power cord into a different electrical outlet to ensure the issue is not with the outlet itself.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
