Hi there,
I run a small business and have an 'HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw' and an 'HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw'. I'm now considering buying one more M283fdw, depending on whether I find a better solution in another brand of printer for printing from afar.
I'm rather disappointed that these printers are not supported by the 'Print Anywhere' (or 'HP Smart Advance') feature in the HP Smart app (as outlined here). As far as I understand they do have the technology in them and so I presume it's simply down to HP not having developed a software solution that would enable the 'Print Anywhere' feature for these printers as well... Or does anyone out there know something I don't? Is it somehow possible? I hope so!
If I'm right and it isn't possible, would HP then consider releasing support for these printers as well? Is HP listening to what's happening in this forum?
Many thanks!

Hello Shafts,
Now you can use Google Cloud Print on any internet-connected machine to print remotely. The procedure is simple, just use the Google Chrome print function: Click File > Print.
- Click on yes button to say thanks
- Click on the button Accepted Solution if the question is answered
- Please contact me to inform me of the result
Best regards,

Hi there @Bernard42,
Many thanks for your quick response.
I am only offered printers that are installed on my computer when I try to print via Google Chrome:
-and if I pick one of these that's not on the local network, then it just keeps looking for the printer. In other words, it doesn't seem to even be trying to print via Cloud.
Also, I believe Google Cloud Print was deprecated in January 2021:

Any other ideas? 🙂 Many thanks!
