HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There are no drivers available on the HP website for the Deskjet F4280 printer.

HP Smart detects that the printer is there and links me to HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One Printer page where I have one download option - the Diagnostic Tool-Fixes download and the other option tells me to "Install the HP Printer Driver and Software provided within your operating system." This basically leads to a continuous loop in the troubleshooting process.

I can't add the printer manually because the printer is not listed in the drop down list under HP when searching for a printer manually. No previous solutions mentioned on this forums have help - they have been third party downloads and/or no longer exist anymore. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a printer to communicate with the computer...
