Product: HP Laserjet 1007P
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I installed the HP Printer Driver 5.1 on my new MacBook Air M1 2020. When I connect my HP Laserjet 1007P printer to the MacBook, it doesn't print while it still detects my printer. I only get the message on the screen that the print job is finished.

Could someone elaborate on the process of installation of a correct software driver till the final printout on Macbook?

Is my printer model still supported by Apple?

HP Recommended

It seems that the computer consider the AirPrint option as a priority. The same happens to me but my printer isn't an AirPrint.
