Hello, 

 

I need to change the region for my printer to accept 962 ink cartridges,

 

I did the Hp smart Ink level procedure. 

 

 

When I right click while holding shift and ctrl the region menu appears but an error message says Unable to  read the  printer region information

 

Printer was bought in Lithuania.

 

We are office workers on a tour, traveling the world.

can someone send me the codes for the USA region ?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hi Andy,

 

I had to give up since the regional reset instructions didn't work, the region code that I have to copy to clipboard is not showing up. Printer was from Lithuania. 

 

I was online chat with a Hp expert controlling my computer for two hours. He could not do it either.
