Officejet Pro 8210
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have two brand new Officejet Pro 8210 printers that will not shut off.  They say they are updating and we should not shut them off, but they have been that way since we got them over a week ago.  We've been on chat with tech support and they can't find a solution.  We've already spent over 4 hours on this problem when we were unable to do any other work.

I thought maybe the community had an answer since HP doesn't seem to have one.  Yes, they have been hard restarted several times.  We have taken them off the surge protectors and put them directly into the walls, we have reinstalled the driver software.  Nothing has worked.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I would recommend you to contact the Support Team and ask for a replacement.

Let me know if this helps.

We spent four and a half hours working with them on Friday and the situation was never resolved.  Unfortunately, our schedules don't provide us with large blocks of time when we can stop working.  They did  not mention a replacement.  That's why I came here.
