HP Photosmart D110a
This printer is 7 years old and has never given me problems until now. The screen shows “At least one of the Cartridges has a problem” the top says print cartridge problem my screen isn’t working so it won’t let me hit print and I took it to Costco to see if maybe the ink was low and nothing...why do things break down when we need them the most?

Remove, inspect, and then reinstall the ink cartridge.

  1. With the power on, open the front access door. The carriage moves to the center of the printer. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.

  4. Check the copper-colored electrical contacts for debris, and go to Step 3: Clean the contacts for instructions on how to clean the contacts. If there is no debris visible, continue to the next step.

  5. Hold the ink cartridge by its sides with the nozzles toward the printer, and then insert the ink cartridge into its color-coded slot until it snaps into place. Make sure that the icon on the ink cartridge matches the icon on the slot.

    • Insert the tri-color ink cartridge in the slot on the left.

    • Insert the black ink cartridge in the slot on the right.
