Hi @DavidM1963,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
To set your HP Envy 6132 printer to default to one-sided printing, you will need to adjust the printer settings on your computer. Here’s how you can do this:
On Windows:
Open Control Panel:
- Press Windows key + S to open the search bar.
- Type Control Panel and press Enter.
Go to Devices and Printers:
- Click on Devices and Printers within the Control Panel.
Access Printer Properties:
- Right-click on your HP Envy 6132 printer icon.
- Select Printer properties from the drop-down menu.
Adjust Printing Preferences:
- In the Printer Properties dialog, click on the Preferences button.
- Navigate to the Finishing or General tab, depending on your printer model.
Set to One-Sided Printing:
- Look for an option like Two-sided (Duplex) Printing and set it to Off or select One-Sided Printing.
- Click Apply or OK to confirm the changes.
On macOS:
Open System Preferences:
- Click on the Apple logo at the top left of your screen.
- Select System Preferences.
Access Printers & Scanners:
- Click on Printers & Scanners.
Select Your Printer:
- Select the HP Envy 6132 printer from the list.
Open Options & Supplies:
- Click on Options & Supplies.
Adjust Default Settings:
- Navigate to the relevant tab where you can find duplex printing settings.
- Make sure Two-Sided is unchecked or select One-Sided as the default option.
Save Changes:
- Save the changes and close the window.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
