I've been told on the HP chat to call the HP support line for an issue, but when I call, the irritating phone assistant says it can't find my serial#. It read back the serial # correctly. The serial # is shown on my printer status report and in the HP portal (where my warranty is shown) .
On a related note, I can only use the chat support option in the HP support portal. When I try to register for a support call or register to get a call back, I enter all the info (phone # has been verified) but the Submit button doesn't respond. All I have left is the chat but it can't help me.
I NEED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE and HP has made it nigh impossible -- I've already wasted a bunch of time on this issue and wasted WAY TOO MUCH TIME trying to talk to someone.
What do i do next?

Hi @OfficeJetMike,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
I completely understand how frustrating this experience must be, and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience you've faced so far.
To assist you further, could you please share the printer’s serial number with me via private message? Once I have that, I’ll check the warranty status on my end and help you with the best possible resolution, including connecting you to a live support agent.
Need help finding your product number? No worries! Check out this handy guide:
