Officejet Pro 6810
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just installed the Officejet Pro 8610.  There are no options to change the print order when printing checks from Sage.  Sage suggested that I install the 6890 driver to use instead,but I can't find it on your site.  Are there other drivers or fixes??

  • Are you trying to print in reverse order?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  1. Open the document or photo on your computer, click File or the menu icon , then click Print.

    Print or Print Pictures window or pane opens with general print job settings, including the menu to select the printer you want to print to.

  2. Open Document Properties or Printing Preferences from the main print window or pane to access the HP print driver settings. The button or link name varies depending on the app you are printing from.

    • Microsoft Word: Click Printer Properties

    • Paint and WordPad: Click Preferences

    • Windows Photo Viewer: Click Options... in the lower right corner of the screen, then click Printer Properties... in the Print Settings window

    • Adobe PDF Reader: Click Properties

  3. To view the different settings, click the tabs along the top of the window. To access more settings, click the Advanced button that is often located on the Layout tab.

  4. Set the page order as required.

I have done that and there isn't an option to change the print order.  I replaced my OJ8600 with the 8610.  The 8600 had the option to print front to back or back to front.  The 8610 doesn't have that option.  I print lots of checks and they need to be printed back to front.

Let us install the Officejet 8600 printer driver and check if that helps.

 

Perform a clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers

  1.  In Windows, search for and open Programs and features 
  2.  Select your HP Printer 
  3.  Select Uninstall 
  4.  In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers 
  5.  In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’ 
  6.  Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo. 
  7.  Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”) 
  8.  Click on the “Drivers” tab 
  9.  Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom 
  10.  Select Ok 
  11.  Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows 
  12.  Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
